The story of studio

 

Didier Rojouan is a trained designer and fine cabinet maker. Fit in easily with Yalin Wu in Paris During her studing in INSEEC, they began to work together.

Then the original studio was established in Shanghai with the goal to design, create and produce high-level design furniture in China.  With our creative work and our technical knowledge, we are always searching to keep and use forward the true sense of the materials. We use nice materials to obtain the fine and precise forms, often difficult to achieve, with the careful finishing. For this, we always keep looking for the best workshops and factories to ensure the quality work, and capable to understand us, our objectives and requirements. With the experiences of modern techniques that we transmit, combine with traditional techniques, we spend hours beside them to produce the best. We wish to transmit our culture of respect for the environment too. That is why, once it’s possible we use the FSC wood, the water-based varnis and the glue  solvent-free.

Now we have come up the new collection, gathered all the good experiences of the team, has been started with a high standard, no matter the handworks, technics, materials or the products that have been used. With this new collection and inspirit we show a creative lifestyle.



Original studio also provides design services，process engineering and mamufactory solution.  Working to develop new products and new ranges with furniture brands, international buyers, factories, and custom made for interior decoratior, architects and commercial spaces.
